Top international meeting planners to visit Scottsdale for Meeting & Incentive Forum The Americas 2016

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

Scottsdale, AZ, USA (Sept. 30, 2015): Over 200 top international meeting and incentive professionals will gather in Scottsdale, Ariz., May 22-26, 2016, at the Meeting & Incentive (M&I) Forum The Americas Spring 2016.

Sponsored in part by the Scottsdale Convention & Visitors Bureau, in partnership with The Scottsdale Resort at McCormick Ranch and Southwest Conference Planners, the four-day event will see hosted buyers hold over 4,500 meetings with event vendors from across the Americas and Europe. The Forum will familiarize thousands of the worlds’ leading meeting and incentive professionals with the Scottsdale area.

“We’re elated to have been given the opportunity to host the Meeting & Incentive Forum this May in Scottsdale,” said Kelli Blubaum, vice president of convention sales and services at the Scottsdale CVB. “It gives Scottsdale the chance to showcase accommodations and amenities to hosted buyers, and boost business for the community.”

M&I Forums are trade events held in the world’s leading meetings destinations. They offer business events vendors the opportunity to meet and develop relationships with vetted, hand-selected buyers who have confirmed budgets to spend. The Forums provide a professional, effective and fun platform for business meetings and networking with these high-quality buyers. In 2016, Scottsdale will join Dubai (UAE), Madrid (Spain), Prague (Czech Republic), and Izmir (Turkey) in hosting M&I Forums.

“Scottsdale recently came to the top of a poll that we ran asking our meeting planners where they would like us to hold our next Forum. We can see why,” said Richard Barnes, Managing Director of M&I Forums. “It’s a totally unique place, a real slice of the Wild West with everything a great ‘meetings, incentives, conferences and exhibitions’ – or MICE – destination needs: a huge airport, excellent hotels, some fantastic meeting spaces, and so much to see and do.  We can’t wait to show our delegates all that it has to offer.”
