P.F. Chang’s Rock ‘n’ Roll Marathon and ½ Marathon January 19, 2014

This annual event combines idyllic winter running weather and live music every mile for a marathon experience runners and spectators alike won’t want to miss! The course runs through three of the Valley’s most vibrant cities, Scottsdale, Phoenix and Tempe, and is followed by post-race concert celebration at Tempe Beach Park starring the B-52s.

Native Trails January 16, 2013 – April 5, 2014

Join the excitement as Native Trails celebrates its 11th anniversary season in 2013. These free noontime festivals explore Native American cultures of the Southwest through music, dance and storytelling. There also will be artisans on site creating and selling their work, as well as local merchants selling pre-packaged indigenous food items. Native Trails is held from 12:00 p.m. to 1:30 p.m. most Thursdays and Saturdays through April 14 at Scottsdale Civic Center Park. For your comfort, bring a blanket or lawn chair.


Celebration of Fine Art January 11, 2014 – March 23, 2014

The Celebration of Fine Art gives you the opportunity to meet 100 working artists under one roof. You’ll be able to talk with the artists about their work and what inspires them, and participate in their creative process. New works are being created all the time and range from realistic to impressionistic, Western realism to contemporary, and landscapes to still life. Don’t miss the Sculpture Garden featuring more than 100 large-scale pieces.


Waste Management Phoenix Open January 27, 2014 – February 2, 2014

Year after year, “The Greatest Show on Grass” draws the largest crowds on the PGA TOUR to the TPC Scottsdale. Past champions include Kyle Stanley (2012), Mark Wilson (2011), Hunter Mahan (2010), and Kenny Perry (2009). After a day on the course, head over the Bird’s Nest Music Festival where nationally renowned bands and a party atmosphere keep the energy flowing well into the night.
