Farm Fresh Food

You know when you come across that piece of fruit or food that you’d give anything to have again? Scottsdale farmers markets are where you find that kind of mouth-watering fruit, produce, and food. There are two markets in Scottsdale for you to enjoy: The Old Town Farmers’ Market (re-opens Oct. 25) is Scottsdale’s oldest running farmers’ market, and the North Scottsdale Farmers’ Market, which recently introduced an evening, indoor market. Here are some of the locally grown, awesomely good foods you’ll find at each of these markets.

Singh Farms: Not your traditional farmers market, Singh Farms is a secret even to Scottsdale natives. Blanketed in shade from towering trees, Singh Farms is one of the best spots to buy locally grown produce and also to spend a relaxing Saturday morning. Grab a bite to eat or a fresh squeezed juice as well!Be sure to check this gem out on Saturday’s.

Old Town Farmers Market: Right in the heart of Old Town Scottsdale is one of locals favorite farmers markets. McClendon Farms is a big part of the market, and always draws a big crowd. With plenty of local jams, honey, and pastries, don’t forget to bring your sweet tooth as well.localinfo
